The seventh property designed by Nelson Design for Corney & Barrow, Monument is an intimate and luxurious experience. Completely subterranean, the bronze wood floor, polished plaster, and mother-of-pearl clad walls contrast against the original exposed brick vaults, playing with the light. Layers of light change throughout the day to transform the space from bright business lunches to sultry evening drinks. A sculptural stretch ceiling provides a wonderful modern element while cleverly hiding mechanicals and anchoring lighting.
